This couple brought a relaxed elegance with a pop-of-color to their wedding day. I love a family-and-friends-focused couple, and Mina and Ronnie filled the weekend with incredible opportunities for their group to connect. They really wanted a wedding day that was not only beautiful, but incredibly fun! I am so thrilled that my team had the honor of planning this timeless, colorful Punta Mita wedding and now, can’t wait for you to see it all!

The Inspiration behind this timeless wedding

When creating this timeless, colorful wedding, creative elements that stand the test of time were key. First, guests sipped cocktails in the garden looking over the stunning ocean, then they headed to the ceremony area that was marked with a colorful huppah (to honor the groom’s culture). Furthermore, set to the side was a simple sofreh (to honor the bride’s culture). We utilized colorful flowers with gold accents in the decor. The natural landscape provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s I Dos!

Later on, guests found their dinner seats at a customized abacus display that was swoon worthy. The wedding party sat beneath a greenery-and-floral-covered gazebo installation. Wood beaded chandeliers hung throughout the areas to add an organic touch. Throughout the night, a twinkle light canopy illuminated the entire reception area. Colorful floral centerpieces and blue-and-white plates highlighted the dinner tables. Following dinner, a customized wooden checkerboard dance floor was the perfect space to keep guests dancing all night! All of these elements came together perfectly at this timeless, colorful wedding.

Dancing was a big deal, so we installed an amazing wooden structure to highlight the dance floor. After an incredible sunset, a stunning floral chandelier lit up the dance floor while guests danced. Later, canopy lighting and a grand fireworks display added to the nighttime magic.

Whoever says a wedding in Mexico can’t be uber elegant hasn’t seen this amazing wedding! I had the privilege to design and plan this modern white wedding in Punta Mita, Mexico, and I’m excited to share the amazing photos with you!

When Carla and I spoke on the phone, I knew we were meant to work together. I heard and understood her vision from day 1. These two lovebirds wanted a white wedding at a luxury villa. The neutral palette perfectly balanced the vibrant colors of the landscape. We utilized white flowers with gold accents, gold seating, and personalized details throughout. The results are stunning!

Not every wedding has to be perky pink! This bride and groom dreamed of a moody romance theme with dark-tone, rich colors. After spending time with Jenn, Michael and their families during a visit, I was thrilled to to design and plan this swoon-worthy wedding in Punta Mita, Mexico, and I’m excited to share every last detail with you.

Jenn had a vision for a moody romance wedding in a tropical setting, What a dream to plan this celebration! The couple and their guests were amazing despite the uncharacteristic November heat on their wedding day, and the smiles proved they had a fantastic night! We utilized dark-tone florals in deep red, wine and magenta with natural greenery. The results are stunning and moody romance is where its at!

Terracotta plates and acrylic chairs were the perfect balance at dinner tables. Customized signs of the couple’s dogs and a replica of the neon sign beneath which they first met added personal touches throughout the celebration. Dark-tone, moody floral centerpieces were set on wispy navy table runners. A twinkle light canopy suspended overhead created the perfect ambiance for dancing.

In all my years of planning weddings, I must admit that this one holds a place near and dear to my heart. Was it the gorgeous tropical greenery and pineapples that won me over? Not a chance. The elegant neutral palette against a stunning garden? Nope. It was the people. The family. The bride and groom and her parents and their guests. It was a complete honor to plan and design this Punta Mita seaside wedding, and I’m excited to share the details and smiles with you!

Less is sometimes more. For this particular wedding, we went less on over-the-top decor and way more on experiences! Tropical greenery, pineapples and a neutral palette dominated the decor at this celebration. The true experience laid in the ceremony that had us laughing and then crying. And after that, fun coconut drinks put everyone in the mood for a true party! These two lovebirds wanted a tropical wedding with a greenery and neutrals that perfectly balanced the vibrant colors of the landscape. The results are stunning!

What’s the one thing you can absolutely count on in Mexico? Vibrant color! Mel and Omid wanted a beautifully-styled wedding with a bright colors and a gorgeous ocean view. We utilized vivid hues, authentic textiles and traditional Mexican equipal seating. Gorgeous woven ceremony aisle rugs paved the way for the bride to her groom for the ceremony. The results are beyond festive!

The tables needed to shout festive, so we utilized a blend of elements. Blue/white patterned tablecloths that mimic traditional Mexican pottery dressed some tables. Other wooden tables had colorful and patterned textile runners. Guests names were painted on terracotta pieces at place settings. Bright flowers, succulents and cactus were featured in the centerpieces. A low lounge table area provided alternate seating in the cocktail area. A canopy of lights interspersed with papel picado added an authentic touch to the decor! It was certainly a vibrant Mexican wedding!

Can you imagine any more heavenly colors than the palette of the ocean? Beautiful blues and whites. Well this couple couldn’t either! These two lovebirds wanted a a neutral wedding palette with just minimal pops of blue that perfectly balanced the peaceful colors of the landscape. We utilized all white flowers, natural wood furniture, gorgeous draping curtains and the beautiful landscape, of course! The results are heavenly!

For the guest favors, guests received customized white maracas to shake for a kiss. A wedding donkey crashed the cocktail hour and took the bride for a ride on the beach. Dinner seating surrounded the infinity pool. Chiffon curtains draped overhead to create an ethereal ambiance of surreal elegance. Beautiful bunches of white hydrangea and roses dotted the dinner tables and provided a sweet aroma during dinner.

Punta Mita Rehearsal Dinner

When I say that we plan “experiences” at The Dazzling Details, this is what I’m talking about! Your guests spend several days with you, and one amazing way to say Thank You is with a fabulous cocktail or dinner celebration! I got to design and plan this swoon-worthy Mexico-chic rehearsal dinner and cocktail party in Punta Mita, Mexico. I couldn’t be more excited to share all the details with you!

With a stylish white wedding planned for Saturday, Koryna and Greg opted for a chic fiesta to welcome their guests to Mexico on Friday night! The wedding party and close family shared a delectable seaside dinner and toasts. Then later, they welcomed all the wedding guests for garden cocktails and beach lounging!

First, individual potted succulents were set in a gorgeous display. Dinner guests would find their names among the succulents and find out where they were sitting. Then a lighter taco bar was available for all the guests who arrived later on for beach cocktails! Hanging lanterns illuminated the beach and garden areas. Festive florals, cactus and Mexico-chic textiles adorned the lounging areas. Finally, guests were delighted with the mariachi and margaritas, of course!

Luxury Punta Mita Wedding

If you’ve ever thought that a wedding can’t be planned in a short amount of time, then you haven’t seen this luxury Punta Mita wedding! With just two months to wedding day, Robbie and Maria contacted me with a request to whirlwind-plan their celebration! I enlisted the help of my good friend Priscilla at Prisar Weddings and Events, and the two of us embarked on the planning adventure!
