This bride and groom requested colorful whimsy and chic elegance for their wedding day, and I could not love it more. This dreamy celebration took place at a private Sayulita villa. They said I Do on the grassy hilltop overlooking the ocean. The guests then headed down the hill to the reception on the lower level garden. I am so thrilled that I had the honor of planning this whimsical Sayulita wedding and can’t wait for you to see it all!
The Inspiration behind this dreamy Sayulita Wedding
The colorful florals throughout the wedding added beauty to the landscape, but the bride’s ever-present smile was even more stunning than the blooms. Bridesmaids chose their own blue-toned dresses for an eclectic yet coordinated look. The bride added a shoulder cape to her dress for the ceremony! In leiu of a traditional floral arch, two floral pillars stood at the sides of the bride and groom. Guests tucked colorful petals into blue watercolor cones to toss over the couple at the end of the ceremony. The I Do’s were perfectly dreamy!

Details that complete the look for this dreamy Sayulita Wedding
Hand-painted acrylic bar signs listed the boutique cocktails available to sip while mingling. Small seating areas with traditional Mexican equipal chairs overlooked the ocean. A local calligrapher created a beautiful dusty blue seating plan so guests could find their tables. Two different tablescapes enticed guests; wooden tables with design place settings and overhead florals were balanced by ivory-draped tables with rattan settings and beautiful centerpieces. Acrylic name plates guided guests to their dinner seats. Taper candles added to the whimsical reception look. Twinkle lighting overhead created pure magic for dining and dancing!
