Modern, romantic and simple. This was the vision that Lisa and Chris shared with us for their wedding day. And after deciding that the celebration should take place entirely on the beach, we got to work putting together an amazing celebration for their intimate group of family and friends! And modern, romantic and simple it was . . . not to mention over-the-top fun and filled with love and emotion!
“Great news – we’ve decided we want to do Puerto Vallarta with The Dazzling Details in winter 2012!” With that email, the planning for Beth and Aaron’s amazing destination wedding began! And the result was an unforgettable blend of light and airy romance, festive elegance, fresh beach beauty, charming rustic touches, lively family and friends and a stunning and oh-so-fun bride and groom!
From the very beginning, Jen and Jeff expressed to us a clear vision for their wedding day: Nothing overdone. Natural beauty accented by simple touches of whites, creams and neutrals. Romance. A touch of vintage. They wanted an atmosphere in which everyone could just get lost in the moment. And their wedding day was all that and more – beginning with a rainbow streaked across the sky and ending with laughter drowning into the sounds of the ocean. 
When Kristi and Justin first shared with us their wedding vision – a Mexican / French-ish / Chic / Airy / Rustic / Beachy/ Travel-type event – we immediately knew the end result would be an inspiring blend of this couple’s family backgrounds, personal passions and style. From the simple yet chic beach ceremony to the candlelit dinner reception to the festive celebration of romance that followed, this is a wedding to be remembered.
Popcorn, pashminas, pinwheels and old family wedding photos were just a few of the unique touches that made Sam and Pat’s intimate wedding celebration in Bucerias, Mexico an absolutely amazing day for everyone involved! (I’ll admit . . . this is the first wedding in a very long time that has made me tear up and is a perfect reminder why we should all be in love with love.
A combination of bold pops of color, classy yet casual elegance on the beach and cheerful Gerber daisies encompassed Kimberly and Tyler’s requests for their Bucerias wedding day. This laid-back Canadian couple invited their closest family and friends and celebrated with an intimate oceanfront wedding!
Details, details, details. Steffani and Ashaunte’s day was full of them. From the meaningful family photos surrounding them during their wedding ceremony to sparkling chandeliers suspended in the gardens, from the dinner tables named for shoe designers to the LA Lakers groom’s cake and surprise fireworks display. This wedding was one to remember.

This wedding was one of my all-time favorites. And I’ll be really honest. I feel guilty saying that; I feel a bit like a parent choosing a favorite child. But Davina and Daniel, known to just about everyone as D + D, are brilliant wedding photographers based in Canada who have seen and done pretty much everything wedding. They pushed us and challenged us to create a new, very non-traditional timeline for their event, a very different design concept and an overall new experience for our team, their guests and themselves. And it could not have been more fabulous.
Bailey and Chad were one of those couples that we’ll just never ever forget. The bride was stunning, radiant really. The decor was lovely. The day was brilliantly sunshine-y. And because of an unexpected twist on wedding day, this couple’s true colors really showed through and demonstrated that they are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside.
Devon’s one request was to be able to surf the morning of his wedding. Kara has a love of all lanterns and at the top of the list are star lanterns. Relaxed, romantic and intimate was important. On the beach was equally important. They are a little bit Bohemian, a little bit rock and roll, a lot about family and friends. The color palette of green, gray and purple blended perfectly with natural wood to create one of the most beautiful wedding atmospheres I have ever experienced.
